Quote seemed good, took out and paid for insurance on 7th June. Now 21st June and no certificate or cover note has arrived. Just called customer services - not at all helpful just "Oh it can take 30days because the insurer doesn't authorise us to issue certificates or cover notes". In over forty years of insuring vehicles I have never come across such slow service -if it takes 30 days to just issue a certificate heaven knows how long it will take if I have to claim. I already regret using "VanCompare" and will not be using them again.
