“Poor quality repair, Slow, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!”

I purchased a new phone through Vodafone and promptly after I set up the handset I was called by an unknown number claiming to be "Vodafone insurance", offering to setup insurance on my new phone. I was under the impression that this was insurance offered by Vodafone as I had selected to be covered by them when I purchased the phone online, plus they already knew my details such as name, address and the phone I had just purchased, so there was nothing to be suspicious of right? WRONG! this was actually Super Insurance, alot of their insurance is set up deceptively by pretending they are Vodafone insurance!

Months down the line my phone breaks,thinking I have nothing to worry about I hastily call Vodafone customer service who told me that I am not covered by insurance, I then call Vodafone's insurance "Premium Plan" directly to which they tell me the same things. Strangely I thought to myself;then what insurance is billing me £23 every 3 months? I then google the name of the insurer from my bank statement only to find out that Super cover Insurance covers my phone.

I am already irritated at this stage and not to mention the 10p I am wasting everytime I had to call them, they never bother to call me on the phone I specifically instructed them to call as I work the same hours their customer service does (I believe they do this to get me to call back so I can be charged). After about a week of going back and forth with them trying to make a claim, they then drop a £25 excess fee?! I pay seeing as I have no choice and at this point I am about 2 weeks without my phone, they send a flimsy plastic bag to send the phone in. Upon sending the item I learn I have to also pay postage? ok fine.

All done right? I wait and wait and hear nothing from them regarding updates on how the repair is going, I chase up and I am told that I will get my phone a week later. I finally receive my phone...and guess what? Horrible quality, poor repair, new stratches in in places it never had, a large gaps where light is visible due to incorrectly fitting parts. Awful. I didn't even bother complaining to them because I know this would incur more cost, I seriously would have saved more money had I just went to Vodafone to repair it under warranty! I am now forced to sell this shoddy phone and scrape enough money to get another one.

The amount of money and time I wasted on this company flaffing about only to receive a poorly repaired phone! I could have done a better job watching youtube videos and attempting to repair the phone myself!

Needless to say, I have cancelled my insurance!

Do not waste your time with this company. You are better off just covering you phone with your actual mobile provider! The review score don't lie.
