Kerkyra Island Hotel, Corfu.
Just returned from another great week at this small, friendly hotel.
This was our 2nd visit & the hotel was, again, excellent. The owner & his family (Spiros, Voula & Yiannis), along with all the staff were very welcoming & friendly.
The hotel is a really nice size & is well laid out. It is situated on a side road away from the coast road. Our room was in the annexe (at our request). The rooms are spacious & well appointed. The hotel food is good at a reasonable cost. The hotel runs quiz's, BBQ's, Greek nights, etc. but you aren't pressured to attend.
There are 3 local tavernas, 1 across the street, which also serve great food. The village is a short stroll away if you need more variety.
One note of caution, a torch is advisable if you walk into the village at night as the main road is narrow & can be, for Greece, busy.
