Bought new manitou £300 forks and noticed wheel tilting significantly to the brake side, tried other wheels to eliminate dish, all the same. Tried my wheel on other bikes... Normal. Lbs agreed the forks would be to blame.
Was told by winstanleys that very unlikely to be the forks, but can be returned with a £15 fee, refundable if found to be faulty. Sure of the fault, I sent them off, 2 weeks later told by winstanleys that their workshop found them to be 3mm out.
No refund, no exchange but a lengthy send to the manufacturers.
So a whole month with no bike, through the first dry weather in 18m, and then I get an email from winstanleys stating minatou have tested the forks as being ok, so are returning to me in the condition I sent them in.
Furious and feel as if have been treated very shoddily with very little contact bar that instigated by me.
