Ordered a 'Pink Princess One Shoulder' Prom dress for my daughter in a UK size 10 (ALL her clothes are a UK size 10).
The dress arrived- and was far too small- definitely a UK Size 6-8 and NOT a size 10.I even took the dress to a tailor to see if alterations could be made but, due to a jewelled band, nothing could be done- plus they had not left enough spare material for alterations. The dress, plus delivery cost me £115.00.
I contacted the live chat and was originally heartened to be told that I should email the company and should receive a refund within 5 days. I emailed the company and was asked to send photos of my daughter wearing the dress so they could 'learn'. I was a little suspicious of this and ensured that my daughters modesty remained in tact in the photos.
I then received an email asking me to 'understand' that they needed to pay tailors etc and would I accept a refund of £15.00 !!!!!! I refused. Several emails later (including one from Fiona Green, infamous on this review site it would seem!!) it became apparent that obtaining a refund was not going to be easy- so I agreed on a compromise of a £60.00 refund, plus keeping the dress.
Despite promises of the refund being issued within 72 hours (and then 12 hours when I chased 5 days later!!) surprise, surprise no money has been transferred.
They now refuse to answer any emails or any live chat requests.
I have no reported them to Action Fraud AND WOULD ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME in order that they are not able to take money from anyone else.
