We first saw Mill farm on Wowcher - it was amazingly priced, and seemed a good experience. We arrived at the beautiful Cheshire farm, and met our horses which were well matched to our abilities and this meant we both loved the ride. Although Bronwyn was partial to the occasional snack and needed a bit of a push, she was a challenge for me and definitely made it an enjoyable ride. Miami was very responsive and an absolute darling. We had Julia and Josh to accompany us - Julia in the saddle and Josh leading on foot. They were so friendly that it was like riding with friends. The ride was catered our individual needs-we got to do a small canter, where as the western rider, new to the English saddle was lead and was pushed to do a trot. She also loved the ride and friendly Josh. There was no road riding and I learned how to ride up a hill and down one, in the most picturesque countryside. We could smell Wild Garlic and marvel at the bluebells. I would definitely recommend this riding school and trekking center, for the beginners and the more advanced.
