“Would not give refund or exchange on faulty unsafe product”

Numerous faults and safety issues including failing brakes on an own brand child buggy product for our young son.
The store we bought it from would not believe there were any problems when we took it back, and would not do an exchange or refund.
Trying to deal with head office management has been really difficult and stressful, getting us nowhere. They were not willing to authorise a refund based on the problems and our consumer rights.
Despite other customer reviews on their website highlighting safety issues consistent with our own experience of the same product, they have not been willing to recall it.

We've had to buy a safe, reliable buggy from another retailer who we trust, and are having to fight to get our money back.
