“Ripped off!”

My 77 year old mother bought a second hand TGA scooter from Mobility Giant costing £1495. She has been waiting weeks for the basket it was meant to come with. It had a broken part which was not visible unless you were able to lay on the ground and look underneath (her son in law did). The speedo did not work and therefore she does not know how far she has travelled on that battery charge. The man at Mobility Giant promised her an engineer would come out that was over two weeks ago and only when I threatened legal action - no one has come. He does not answer the phone and has a habit of calling back when he has been told no one will be available and just leaves a message to call him, so you end up in a ridiculous circle of l. He has now told her that he will post the part to her, so she can fit it herself!! Also he is now denying that he was told about the speedo and hung up on her when she pressed the point, enquiring if he had some sort of memory problem!
My brother has now written to him to see if this can be resolved.
