“Riding the Majestry 400 ”

I have owned four of these machines, found them spelndid for commuting. Daily 50 miles home (Essex) to Central London. have ridden long distance from London to Newcastle, and Liverpool, and Manchester, and Leeds all journeys from London, average mileage 11,000 per anum. Very reliable, service intervals are good 6,000 between servicing, (oil change at 3,000 but no filter change so easy to do yourself).

What does require getting used to is the handling, giving up my touring days on my Pan European in comparison Honda 10/10 Majesty 4/10. Cornering in the wet can be tricky and cross winds are challenging. I put it down to the smaller wheels. This machine cannot be "thrown" around it needs concentration and care. single cylinder there is a lot of vibration and rattling when pulling off or in heavy stop/start traffic, after 2000 revs no problems, nice smooth ride.

My opinion if you want a good clean, relatively cheap to run commuter, that is comfortable to ride and legs friendly, then it might be for you.
