I ordered a rug in January and after not receiving it in the given deadline. So I emailed the customer service 3 TIMES before I got a generic reply.
Then I phoned them up and the man on the phone was very helpful and apologetic but couldn't say why or where our rug was.
Evantually we received a call back from the customer service team and they said that they ran out of stock and it will arrive in the next month and they will let us know when its despatched. But they didn't the rug arrived out of the blue and waiting for a rug for 4 MONTHS its ridiculous that they didnt offer anything for the incurred wait.
Bottom line if you're after furniture definitely dont order from Debenhams, as you are going to wait a very long time for the smallest of items.
