“MASSIVE INCREASE IN PREMIUM YEAR ON YEAR”

DID A LOT OF RESEARCH BEFORE CHOOSING ASDA PET INSURANCE, thought they would be fair and trustworthy as we shopped in their store for years and had good service.
They paid out quickly on small claims but let us down on renewal prices for policy
1st year premium for one dog £176.00. after 3rd year premium just short of £1,000.00 for two dogs! PLUS excess jumped from £65.00 to £80.00 PLUS a brand new charge of 10% of each claim.
I cancelled the policy and save the money in an account for the dogs plus I no longer shop at Asda as feel cheated!
if you calculate an £800.00 claim it's cheaper to pay the vet than pay the premium on the policy then pay £80.00 excess then pay 10%!!!
If they told me a small claim could quadruple the premium, BEFORE taking the insurance I could of walked away and tried elsewhere.
BEWARE IF YOU MAKE A SMALL CLAIM THEN DECIDE TO CANCEL THE POLICY YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO PAY THE WHOLE YEARS PREMIUM WHEN YOU CANCEL.
