We had only been at our holiday destinatuon 6 hours and when we received a call from the Uk that our only Son had collapsed and died. One can understand the state we were in , however, on contacting Saga and explaing our position we were told " book your own flight home its easier" and than given a claim number. Our Hotel ( in the Far East)did everything for us to get us home.
The total claim took 5 months with constant letters and phone calls where Saga were trying to wriggle out of paying , indeed at one point we got a letter saying stating they were sorry about my Husbands death ! I rang the compamy to explain they had not read our claims proberly and it was our son who had died and got a flippant "sorry bout that "
