I have just completed my first week after trying and failing on the Slimming World online diet. I am SO pleased with Tesco diets. With amount of daily calories I have been allowed I thought I would have gained weight. I have lost 4 lbs, which is a very good start. The online programme is so easy to use to tailor it to your particular likes or needs. (I have a wheat and dairy intolerance - you just enter this at the beginning and all recipes offered are wheat and dairy free - how good is that) For once in my life I am so organised and don't have to worry about what I can make to eat. I fell down here a lot in the past because if I did not have the time to plan a meal hunger would drive me to eat the nearest available food. (invariably high in calories). I am using the Healthy Eating plan which fits well into my life style and is popular with the rest of the family.
Because Tesco count calories and not points it is so much easier to stick to. (calories are universal after all and are usually shown on all food packaging) I went to a 60th anniversary celebration dinner and was able enter my meal and the programme converted this to calories and deducted it from my daily allowance. No calculator or books necessary
I am very very happy that Tesco's have a mentor system and I can have online chat with a very friendly professional person who can sort out any problem I may have and keep me motivated. I need this
For the first time in my dieting history (more years than I will admit to) I am looking forward to week 2.
