“Expensive but poor”

Loaf sell themselves as a company of quality goods and excellent customer services. Unfortunately in our experience they have been anything but. My wife and I have just finished building a new house on the coast in Wales and thought we'd treat ourselves to a new bed. We thought about buying a mattress too but were concerned about buying the correct one online, so we called them. After a long discussion about our options we chose a firm mattress for my back. Unfortunately their 'firm' isn't very firm, a point highlighted by on of the staff who said to me 'other people have found that too'.
We had the mattress for a month, though only slept on it for 15 days (due to finishing the house), by which time my back was suffering considerably. I called Loaf and asked if I could swap it for the extra firm mattress they do. They said no, even though it had only been slept on 15 times. I offered to buy a another brand new super king size mattress extra firm if they give me some money for the old one, even half price, they said no. I asked them to think about it, that I had already spent £2300 with Loaf and all they did was offer me free delivery of a £600 new mattress. I will never use this firm again, and as an artist with a huge family and extended family Loaf will have lost out by miles more from their treatment of us that if they had shown some commitment to clientele who had spent a fortune with their firm but received no consideration.
