The computer itself took longer than expected to arrive. After it did it must have only worked for a day before deciding to turn off at random. We asked for remote assistance several times, but they never seemed to do anything productive before leaving us on hold, with no explanation, until we stopped the connection hours later as their help centre had closed.
Eventually the computer stopped working completely and so we sent it back for repairs.
It took over a month for them to get it back to us again.
When it did finally come back it seemed to work ok to start with, although we noticed that the graphics card and some of the other components were actually not what we'd paid for, and actually cheaper products. Even the case was completely different. But we had a computer that worked and that's all that mattered for the time being, we let them know about the different parts and they sent us new ones to replace them with (although we haven't installed them as of yet).
Everything worked great for about a week, apart from something being wrong with the graphics card as we couldn't get it to work with more than one screen. Even the computer planet technicians couldn't figure it out.
But then suddenly the computer just turned itself off and refused to turn on again out of no where. At this point we had decided enough is enough, we wanted a refund. We haven't done anything to void the warranty and have never had a fully working computer, we wanted to go elsewhere where they might actually understand how to make a computer work.
We asked them for a refund and was promptly told no because 'they don't do refunds on custom computers'. No where in their policies does it say this, we haven't tampered with any thing and we have NEVER had a product that has worked completely.
Needless to say, we are outraged and if they don't refund us than I think legal action will have to be taken.
