“Good, But useless support. Uptime is horrible! - Read...”

Written on: 27/03/2013

I find the company hard to deal with when talking about uptime. They don't seem to listen and just say it will be backup shortly. The downtime is horrible. I've had to move to a new web hosting from the cause of bad downtime. I have lost 2 potential clients due to this, 1) of which he was showing how to use an online guide to a customer and 2) couldn't get access to his email because of it.

I also find that their prices are very overpriced for what you receive. The capacity and bandwidth which you receive is way over priced. The features are limited. Their Cpanel hosting for just 15gb space is a whopping £7.50/month. There support isn't bad as they offer live chat help, but i find they are completely useless and I've had to post on the forums a few times to get issues sorted by much higher representatives.

I've moved over to zenbix.com and had much better support and reliability for my money. Yes, they are not as big as eUKhost, but they are always there when you need them and the uptime is much much better. Not had a single downtime since moving and that was 6 months ago.

I find them easy to work with, they help/fix any problems on your website due to the primary business is website design and not hosting. I've had much better service and the uptime is fantastic. Not only that, the prices are cheaper and you get way more features.

I would avoid eukhost if you are a business, the downtime is such a shame, the prices on what you pay at eukhost are very overpriced and i would consider moving to someone more reliable. I now tend to avoid the big companies and go with much smaller firms, as i find the support is much better and do tend to be more relaxed and more reliable.
