“Very safe, amazing tour!!”

I can't say enough good things about the staff of Memphis Tours. We had amazing tour leaders, drivers and tour guides. There was never a time that I felt unsafe, we were well taken care of. The tour was amazing, the guides were knowledgable and friendly. The optional excursions were also great. We spent 8 amazing days in Egypt, cursing the Nile and learning a great deal of history and Memphis tours made it fun and safe and a great adventure.
All of are accommodations were great. In Cairo we stayed at Le Meridian at the pyramids, great amenities, the pool and spa were amazing, the staff there was very helpful. The cruise boat "Royal Lily" was beautiful and the staff was great. We had amazing food, comfortable rooms and a very attentive staff. The information on the web site was very good. The only information I would have liked before the trip was currency and tipping practices. If I had know that the US dollar was preferred I would have made an effort to get some prior to arriving in Cairo. Also the required tipping of staff, drivers and all the other people who paths we crossed would have been useful information. I usually tip based on service and the price of things, but not knowing the individual price because of booking a tour made it hard to know what was appropriate amounts to tip.
