“watch out for this one. what ever happens plan £9.50p”

Bought a new laptop last week, everything was fine until I went to pay, the assistant told me use the 24/7 help line as much as you want it's free for a month, what he did was sign me up to Whatever happens plan and Sets a Direct Debit of £9.50 a month without asking me. I complained I didn't agree to this is answer just cancel it if you do online banking.
since when do shops sell me something I didn't ask for and think it's ok to steal £9-50 from my bank account.
