I have had my biorb tank for 4 years now. I bought it when I did not know much about the requirements of fish. It is a very attractive tank. It's a clever design, but still requires weekly partial water changes and the gravel needs to be vacumed. It can be very difficult to hoover up all the mess at the bottom of the tank and I would not recommend it for small fish. All my neon tetra's ended up in the filter after the first hour, never again. I bought gold fish but decided that they needed more swimming room as they are fast, active fish. I am currently housing 2 angelfish in there on a temporary basis until I buy a 200 litre tank for them and I have to assume they are happy enough in there for now because they are spawning in there which was completely unexpected. In future I would recommend wide tanks so the fish can dart happily from one end to the other with ample swimming space rather then just swimming round in a circle and going up and down.
