Just before Christmas my two very elderly parents travelled from Antwerp to London. They got lost and an expected two hour journey took over 4 hours. DFDS decided that as they missed their booked crossing they had to pay extra. On calling the head office in the UK they apologized for the lack of understanding at Dunkirk and gladly refunded the extra payment . Unfortuantley this happened on the return trip and again DFDS were happy to refund the extra payment made at Dover.
I have traveled hundreds of times oin DFDS and have always found them timely, Courteous, Good value for money and very customer focused. This experience of their understanding of two elderley passengers and the ultimate conculsion confirmed my experience of the excellent customer that DFDS offer
