I will not use expedia in the future. It is much simpler and cheaper to go through the airlines themselves. Expedia kept my refund money for longer than they said (one to two magical billing cycles), and it was a huge hassle to finally get it back. After calling the airline (Airtran), I found out that Airtran gave the money back to Expedia the week after cancellation, and that expedia kept that money for over 2 months before my refund was issued. This is poor, inexcusable sloth on their part. People need their money refunded quickly so as to make another flight with it. Also, your customer service representatives are difficult to understand and seem to be trained to give back standard responses and not actually get to the bottom of anything. I think that Expedia is a terribly run operation that hides behind confirmation numbers and fine print to nickel and dime people that think they are saving money. Do yourself and favor and use expedia to find the flight, and book directly through the airline.
