We had this boiler fitted in August 2011 on the recommendation of our Corgi registered installer ( not British Gas ), who told us this Remeha boiler was a better bet than the Worcester boiler we wanted, as it had a five year warranty and Worcester only gave two, All of our gas and electrical products are covered by a British Gas yearly contract so we had that peace of mind, the first winter the boiler failed to work, the british gas fitter on inspection found the main sealing ring inside had not been fitted correctly and it had to be replaced which took 3 days to get the parts,since then we have called out British Gas approximately 25 times for numerus varied faults, the latest one is now the boiler will not recognise the remote thermostat, so the boiler comes on and goes of when it wants!,I rang Remeha customer Support to see if i could get one of there engineers to come out under the Guarantee to sort out all the problems, but was told that I would have to pay £169:00p as this was'nt covered, I am again waiting for British Gas.
