I needed to find somewhere to stay in the Margate area, so I looked up Late Rooms.
Price was important, so the fact that the list of hotels was graded by price was helpful.
As I have problems walking, I wanted to find a hotel without stairs - most of the lower priced hotels appeared to be up many steps, so seeing photos of them helped me to rule them out. Reading reviews by people who have stayed there of the individual hotels is always helpful. I finally settled on a modern motel even though it was outside the town, because it ticked all my boxes. I am going there tomorrow, so will find out then if it is as good as it looks.
One interesting point - I first checked out the hotels last week, and was satisfied with the prices. However, by the time I had talked to my partner and agreed to book our choice, the price had gone up.
So it is worth bearing this in mind, and act fast when you see what you want before its price rises.
