I booked online a flight package and then stupidly took advantage of their hotel booking, which offered on screen a discount of £50 if booked together. I found a hotel which I thought suitable and took careful note of where I had to insert the promotion code EXPE50. Unfortunately when I got to the billing page, where this was supposed to be located, it was not there, and by then I had entered my credit card details. I phoned and spent over 20 minutes on the phone, and was eventually assured that someone from their technical team would get back to me, as the promotion was no longer showing on screen. I have just returned from my week in Sicily, having received no response from them at all, and am £50 worse off. I shall not be using expedia in future.
