“Wrong desks delivered and poor customer service”

We recently had our garage converted and I ordered 2 desks from Furniture@Work, a week later I messaged them about delivery and received no response. It was only after I threatened to cancel the order that they responded.

They delivered the items on the 22nd of February, my dad helped me carry them in. I then had to go to work, it was a surprise when I got home to see that my parents had put them up for me. They also said that they were too big for the room.

When I walked in I saw the size, they had clearly sent the wrong desks, after contacting the sales team I was told that it was my eyes that were deceiving me, they were sure that the desks ordered were that in the picture.

I took pictures and sent a photo of the desks which I ordered, they were not the same. I even sent a photo to the manufacturer. I received a response on Tuesday the 26th saying we will be in touch within 48 hours. Nothing else heard. I've received a brochure Friday and the desks delivered are not the ones on my invoice.

Thankfully I have paid by credit card and will be putting a claim in for incorrect goods, items sold on their website are not what is delivered, as the items are too big for my room they are not fit for purpose. False advertising

My verdict....STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
