“Domain paid for and not renewed”

Domain paid for and not renewed - wanted £75 plus VAT to get the domain out of redemption. Accepts zero liability for service - OK for hobby sites but for a professional this is not acceptable.
Not how I run my business and not how I expect to be treated. I could probably sue but prefer to vote with my feet (and my twitter/facebook and blogging accounts) and never use them again.
