“Don,t waste your money.”

I was advised to get this boiler as i wanted the most reliable heating system that was avalible.Ok for the first year or so it stopped only on the odd occation and as i had a wireless stat i just put it down to this.Then as the boiler got older i started to have more regular starting problems i then read on the internet that these problems were quite common with the 831. yes ok you can order an update kit for this boiler but for the money you pay you might expect vaillant to at least be honest and help resolve the issue. I spoke to there head office about this and the guy on the phone decided it was easyer to put the phone down rather than answer my question....The best thing i can say to help is i am a landlord and own four different boilers this make is the most expensive i own and has also been the most unreliable. do youself a favour look else where....
