Good Points
Hysterically funny.
Bad Points
Makes you realise the trouble we are in, when money can buy such a powerful position.
General Comments
I read Michael Moore's Stupid White Men after watching his documentary "Bowling for Columbine". I like the way he took a serious topic and made it more interesting and palatable to the average man on the street, by injecting humour.
The subject itself is of course the inimitable George W Bush, most of us already realise that his position was bought rather than earned, but this seems to be the state of politics in general these days.
Stupid White Men, covers the American Presidential Election, which took place in 2000 amid all the controversy of rigged ballots, and ethnic communities losing their right to vote etc...
Michael Moore obviously has strong views on the state of the nation as it stands currently, and these views often come across in a slightly obsessed manner.
However, on the whole the book shows his dedication to freedom of speech, and the right of the "people", not just to the rich and well connected.
Ignore the hype around Michael Moore. Give Stupid White Men a read and make your own mind up, you may be surprised to find you think along the same lines.
