WRITE A REVIEW

“New Year's Eve disaster!”

I am very happy with the DL club I go to in Ringwood and think one gets value for money. However, I was more than disappointed with the way the New year's eve party was organised. Having been told by numerous friends to avoid eating at the David LLoyd I was prepared to give it a chance and so booked 2 tickets for NYE. The buffet was really not good at all. Firstly they ran out of the 2 only meats on offer Beef and Gammon so some guests went without! Secondly the person who carved the meat cut the slices so thin that they broke into pieces. the rest of the buffet was ok. But the fresh fruit salad was a joke. A staff memmber counted out the pieces of fruit onto each person's plate and one only got about 10 pieces, a banana was sliced up with the skin on and just one was placed at the side of the dish. Liquid cream which was more like milk was the accompaniment.
We really had the feeling that the catering staff were on a tight budget as everything was served on to one's plate by the staff. I don't think I'll be going next year.
