Lloyds have been an absolute nightmare to deal with and am disappointed I have had to give them 1 star as they don't deserve that.
I made a first contents claim in 11 years and am still awaiting settlement, this has been passed for settlement 3 times but they then continue to put it on hold for any reason they can find.
The complaints team work in the same department so never really investigate your complaints properly and I am now going through the ombudsman. The issues I have had have been disgusting and wouldn't like anyone to go through this again.
They applied for a police report August 9th and it didn't arrive until 23rd December, they offered a cash settlement valued at around 40% of the claim value and since rejecting that they have gone out there way to make things difficult for myself and seem to be holding of to reduce the value of items they need to replace.
My advice is to avoid like the plague and read some reviews from other companies to see how there claims have been dealt with.
