We moved into a Cala built home in June 2008. We have had nothing but trouble with the heating system, which has an Ideal (how ironic) Icos HE 24 boiler. Last winter we had 15, yes15, call-outs and every part of the boiler was replaced. This winter we're having the same problem, LF fault. Thankfully we have Homeserve cover. Their last engineer told us these boilers were 'basically rubbish'. We certainly agree!! Our builder, Cala, has washed its hands of it, it's basically our problem. Would not recommend these boilers (or Cala) to anyone. To have any piece of mind, we're going to have to get a new boiler. Great.
