It's been a great diet for her, used in measured amounts and fed twice per day. Make sure your dog always has plenty of fresh water and don't give too many treats. In addition to regular health checks etc and lots of love and exercise.
The negative reviews seem to relate to possible other problems or secondary issues. There is a lot of choice out there and a lot of money to be made, so beware of unproven hypes relating to 'all in one' foods. I am currently comparing for a food that will help with her joints and am discovering that there is little research or proof that some of the supplements actually do help. Most of the foods contain similar quantities of the supplements yet the prices vary enormously - so beware. We have found that giving her extra supplements seems to be doing the trick and Omega-3 is the only one that appears to have any solid research attached to it. At the end of the day she is getting old and has never had problems with Bakers (had the Senior since she was 7) so I am not likely to change her diet at this stage of her life.
