Flown over 2 million miles with American. Most flights have gone without a hitch always beware of changing your flight as it may cost a fortune - $150 plus whatever the cost is the day you make the change. The best mileage redemption program of any US airline. Many planes are past their prime. I have met disinterested flight attendants and gate attendants. The way you approach AA employees may make a big difference what treatment you receive just ad the desk clerk at a hotel. I book my European redemption trip T least 7 months in advance.
