“No apology”

I was sent flowers from my niece in America and she specifically said on card "lplease leave in a safe place". They were left on my doorstep and the base was frozen ice. They lasted a couple of days. I found them at 8am and believe they must have been delivered the night before! I sent an email giving details and was told to ring customer services which 8 did. The girl said air had to be the person who had ordered them to make a complaint. As if you would ring America and complain about a gift. Will never send flowers from M&S. I expected at the very least an apology.
