I have had my account transferred from Egg to Yorkshire Building Society. My account has been restricted and three interest payments are missing. After several hours on the phone to Customer Services seeking a resolution, they left a voicemail agreeing to lift the restrictions and pay the missing interest, after I when through further security with Customer Services. But when I telephoned as instructed they refused to honour this agreement. Mark Broom who calls himself a 'Specialist Complaints Manager' refused to disclose where my missing interest payments were, and stated repeatedly that "the interest is nowhere/doesn't exist". (??) This is not an answer. The interest has been earned on this account but appears to be currently stored somewhere other than my account.. I want that money back. Has anyone else had serious problems with Yorkshire Building Society and successfully got their money back?
