“Needs to be Audited”

We used to use Shopgoodwill when it first went online, but quit after several years when shipping rates went through the roof. We also noticed the item descriptions were becoming less and less accurate. We were brought back after a regional manager asked us to give it another chance. Again we will no longer deal with Goodwill. We quickly noticed that shipping charges were badly inflated. Typical was to take a 3lb item and charge 54lb in shipping. More often than not the shipping far exceeded the value of the item.We restricted our bidding to one store where we could pick the items up. We doubted the shill bidding at first but then began to notice to same items being offered every other week. In particular I noticed a vintage Marx Toy set and an Autographed Football jersey which would both bring over $150.00 seemingly offered over and over again. The explanation I received was they were being won by snipers who would then cancel the sale. After bidding on an item ten different weeks eventually people would give up and the sniper would win the item again but at a much lower price. The actual personnel at the regional center were always friendly and helpful when we picked items up, but the games with bidding were too much.Snipers and Shipping rates ruin this auction.
