I will be honest, I wouldn't naturally go to Finsbury thinking that I will find there a good place to eat but the Season Kitchen changed my mind. I went there with my family for a diner and the food was superb! The food was very fresh , there ethos is too serve seasonal product (the name is a give away). A modern take on classic British cuisine.
I had the 6 testing menu whcih only costs £26, a bargain, and it was delicious. The cauliflower blancmange start was a really interesting and the dessert, a parsnip tart, was incredible. The tart tasted slightly like marzipan.
The atmosphere was very good, loads of 30 something. Nice decoration, friendly staff. What's not to like.
