The D&L could have been written as my life story given I have owned a car servicing business for 38 years. Perhaps that's why we drive Toyotas.
For those with discretionary spending ability, buy what you like and if it is European you will help bolster the wallets of we mechanics. We were all slowly going broke due to the reliability and quality of Japanese cars, now also beginning to include some of the larger companies from the third world as they grow, so the renewed push into Oz of the euro cars has been a gold mine.
I find the D&L a valuable reference and a number of our customers have used it to win claims with car dealers over "what goes wrong" issues.
But I do miss the paper copy!
