Key points:
- extremely poor website design (difficult to place the order)
- appalling customer service
- unreliable delivery
We used to shop with Tesco and they were much better than Sainsbury's, but we tired Sainsbury's because we thought the quality of products might be better there.
We'd booked Sainsbury's grocery delivery for Saturday evening at 6 o'clock, that meant that we had planned our weekend around the grocery order. In addition to this we had spent 2 evenings during the week planning the order. On Saturday the order didn't arrive however, and apparently this was because my wife had forgotten to click send button while she added 1 item to our £150 grocery order on Friday. The customer service informed us that all the effort we had put into this was wasted, and the order had disappeared??? How is it possible they systems are so poor that they can lose business like this?
Sainsbury's customer support did nothing to help us out! Absolutely nothing! We spoke to the manager and the manager just said I'm sorry we don't have any order for you??? What is this? How can you treat your customers like that?
We informed the manager that they would miss out our £3000 a year we spend on grocery shopping and they the manager wished us a nice evening.
I wonder how Sainsbury's is not out of business with this kind of behaviour.
