“so far so good”

I did several bookings on this site however not yet made use of them as my trip is yet to happen in December 2012. To date I am happy as 1) the site is clear and gives plenty of useful details on hotels 2) confirmation / cancellation works all right 3) when Internet communication was suddenly down during the reservation process I immediately received a prompt from booking.com to my mailbox offering assistance in booking finalisation 4) some of my bookings on booking.com were followed by confirmations sent directly from hotels booking.com booked for me 5) in many cases booking.com is cheaper than booking directly. Nothing to reproach the site with so far. I do hope there are no nasty surprises when I arrive at my 1st hotel booked via booking.com.
