I am now at my 7th or 8th week, and to be honest, I have now got to point where I am at first name terms with the nationwide colleagues, I feel that I have made all the running about, when I first rang up about an extra little money I assumed that as I have paid £100 “administration charge” that most if not all the running about would be done by the building society, but no, I have never had a letter, e-mail or phone call off them saying either everything was OK or in most cases not OK! It took them 3 weeks and a phone call for them to contact me about sending my payslips etc. Giving the excuse that their printer in Swindon was giving them problems!! After that they then sent Employment Conformations to my place of work ( wrong address ) I have now sorted that out.. Hopefully.. I can honestly say that working with the Nationwide Building Society has been the worst experience I have ever had. And given that that my mortgage is with them and expires in Feb 2012 I will be moving!!
