“Downloadster: Open Source Haven”

My experience with downloadster.net was quite pleasant, I found the layout very straight forward thus making the pages very easy to navigate between. The color scheme and visual theme is also very appealing and gives one a crisp modern feel with just a hint of simplistic excellence. When I first logged on, the application featured on the home page was VLC media player, in my opinion the very best media player there is, there was also an editorial review of the application thus informing any newbie about the wonders of VLC.

Scrolling further down the page, the other applications available for download are displayed, from Open office to GIMP photo editor the site offers a wide range of open source applications thereby ensuring that users do not have to engage in piracy since the applications are free.

If I were to offer a critic, it would be the fact that one has to scroll all the way to the bottom to see the other hosted applications. I would however highly recommend the site very highly for your open source download needs.
