“comfortable but too fragile”

I've been wearing acuvue2 lenses for years but recently my vision has changed & they weren't as suitable
My optician suggested Acuvue Oasys. I tried these for 3 months. They were more comfortable BUT they kept tearing at a rate of about 1 or 2 a week. I've been wearing contact lenses for 25 years now so I'm used to handling them. I took them back & my optician told me noone else had found them too fragile but I've since read reviews of others with lenses that tear & so wanted to alert other contact wearers of the potential problem with Acuvue Oasys
