“Get what you need for free and minus the hassle”

It was great to come across a site that offered the kind of free downloads I needed without me having to trawl through loads of waffle.

The first page I got to was for the VLC media player software which from what I've read is pretty much the most popular open-source free player you can find, which is why I sought it out.

I'm glad to say, it didn't let me down, and the download process via Downloadster was intuitive, straightforward, and quick - once I'd agreed the terms and conditions, I had the player on my PC within a minute of two max.

The important thing to point out is that the navigation to other free downloads appears along the bottom or the page on Downloadster, not at the top of in a side bar, so watch out for that.

The other downloads I went for were a free PDF reader - nice not to be beholden to Adobe for a change - and 7zip. This zip/unzip software compresses files considerably smaller than most of the competition, which is really important for my business.

Definitely a site worth adding to your favorites...
