Bought after Sandy hit our area. No power for over 9 days. Found this generator at Walmart selling for $500.

Initial run only lasted 3 minutes and subsequent runs were for also around 3 +- minutes. After some checking discovered that if I left the gas fill cap lose the unit ran as long as needed. There is some type of vent valve on top of the tank that does not seem to be working. I assume this valve should allow air to enter the tank as fuel is used.

Never could reach anyone on the 800 number.

For an emergency I guess this generator filled my need. But if I had looked for a generator when the sun and was out and I power I would have passed buying this unit. Very loud when running. My snowblower makes less noise.
