“When I returned the car I was told it had been...”

Good Points
Car was washed on outside, staff were courteous.

Bad Points
Not given advice regarding insurance.
Condoms(unused) in glove box.
Inside of windscreen had never been cleaned in life of car. (1 year)
Washer fluid empty.

General Comments
When I returned the car I was told it had been "curbed", there was a trivial scratch on the alloy wheel. They helped themselves to the £400 excess from my credit card and pointed out this could have been avoided if I had taken out the optional insurance (which I had not been offered). They found the damaged wheel far too quickly for my liking, almost as if they knew it was there before the car was returned. I was invited to sit in the office while they inspected the car. The repair cost £65 and they refunded the difference the following week. They then refused to send me a receipt for the repair. I contacted trading standards who were useless. Enterprise told them that they had sent me a receipt and they accepted this. I was left feeling a bit bullied and poorly treated.
