“Do not use this airline!”

A year ago I booked my honeymoon using america airlines for our flights. Well, we just learned that they cancelled are out-going flight and delayed our return flight. As a result we have to spend the night in Miami on the way back. When asked if they could pay for our hotel in Miami or even waive baggage fee, what was their response????
Sorry,can't do anything except refund your reservation or change your flights.
If you're able, I would fly any other airline besides American!
