“Excellent deals, terrible customer service”

I have been using Hotels.com on & off for the past 5 years. There are some great deals to be had and there is a loyalty scheme (book 10 nights get one free). All in all one of the best hotel booking sites!

However (and sadly), their customer services is average to poor. I've had issues in the past (a booking in Cape Town that was not honored), issues with a booking in Annecy France and only recently a booking in Luton (where the room amenities where falsely represented). Albeit, my comprehensive e-mail to their customer services, I did not hear back! That is why I am knocking back this area of the site!!
