“Problems setting up a new email address and domain”

I found the 123.reg.co.uk website incredibly difficult to navigate and not user friendly in the slightest. The expense of setting up web domain hostings and email addresses was great and a lot more than I had expected. It is not good value for money at all. I have currently purchased two domain addresses and one email account but have no idea how to activate them or set them up as instructions on the site are not clear.

In fact it was not explained to me initially that to purchase and set up email correctly you also need a webdomain server which has cost me a further £90 - not good.

However I did have a live chat with one of the 123.reg.co.uk team called Dorin today who resolved some of my issues and was helpful and professional. I am going to need more live chats in the future to set up my email properly but if the help is once again there I may be more likely to recommend them in future. I am feeling frustrated as I need to change my email address for business reasons and it is taking a lot longer than expected. 123 Reg need to sort out their website and make their service a lot swifter and more user friendly or they will lose a lot of customers.
