“Kingston/Bentalls Incompetant Supervisory & Managerial...”

written by misc1 on 30/09/2012

Where to start with this place?!

After an initial good experience with a complimentry skin analysis, I was then bombarded constantly at the end of each month with "special one off offers" most of which were offering 50% off all treatment courses so I can only assume the therapists were on commission.
These were then followed up by countless phone calls, in particular these were coming from their current clinic supervisor - they seem to have a new manager every month - pressurising me to buy now and book a patch test later (for laser hair removal).
After foolishly giving in to a patch test (I was not prepared to spend money with no guarantee of any result or safety with no patch test) I was met with a helpful sales girl on the reception desk which gave me some hope in the clinic...this was soon diminished.
My therapist kept me waiting for ten minutes whilst she chatted and was eating a sandwich in the 'treatment area'. When she decided to finish her break, she rushed me through a form and told me to follow her up stairs to the laser room. I was told to just jump on the bed and the test would 'only take a sec' - not particulary reassuring to someone who has never had a laser treatment.
I had a couple of flashes of the laser on my underarm and leg which I explained they felt very hot, I was told this was normal, and then very quickly ushered to pay for the deal today as there was only one left. I said I would go home and think about it first, she then appeared very dis interested in me.
After a couple of hours the area was swollen and looked blistered, I was concerned so called the clinic and spoke to a therapist who was much more helpful I must add, she explained side effects of the treatments etc.
I decided to not take the course due to the chance i may have to have me treatments with the girl who performed my 'express' patch test whos name i believe is christina/christine? I was shocked to find out that this is actually the new clinic supervisor.

Need I say more?!
